January Beginner Foundation Series - Start Playing with Confidence

The Beginner Foundations Series is a three-session learning experience designed to take you from learning the basics of American Mahjong to putting it all together at the table with confidence. We move at a comfortable pace, beginning with the fundamentals in Mahjong 101, building on them in Mahjong 102, and then giving you a full evening of Foundations Guided Play to practice what you've learned while support is still right there when you need it. That third session is all about playing. There’s no new lesson to master — just time at the table to practice, ask questions, and let everything you’ve learned start to feel more natural. Your registration includes all three sessions, the official National Mah Jongg League card, all materials, and a welcoming, small-group environment in our cozy Grafton studio. No prior experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to learn. What’s included: 🀄️ Mahjong 101: Tiles, suits, structure, and how the game works 🀄️ Mahjong 102: Reading the card, game flow, and putting the pieces together 🀄️ Foundations Guided Play: 2½ hours of relaxed, supported play to practice what you've learned and build confidence at the table 🀄️ Official National Mah Jongg League card 🀄️ All materials provided 🀄️ Small-group, women-centered learning environment in our Grafton studio 🀄️ A clear pathway into regular Guided Play, Open Play, and the Central MA Mahjong community Cancellation Policy: Purchase is nonrefundable. If you need to make a change, please contact Central MA Mahjong before canceling your registration online. Transfers are available with at least 7 days' notice before the first session, subject to availability. Missed sessions cannot be made up, transferred, or credited. If Central MA Mahjong needs to cancel a session, we'll make arrangements for a replacement date or provide the appropriate refund.
