Pop Up Guided Open Play

Guided Play is designed for players who already know the basics of American Mahjong and can comfortably play a full game. It is not a beginner lesson. Whether you've recently completed Beginner Foundations, learned somewhere else, or simply want more practice before joining Open Play, this session provides a supportive environment to strengthen your skills. This is a relaxed, social play session with coaching available throughout the evening. I'll answer questions, help you work through challenging situations, reinforce game flow and NMJL procedures, and help you develop confidence, strategy, and pace of play—all while playing real hands of Mahjong. If you join the waitlist, please do not submit payment until you've been notified that a seat is available. You'll receive an email from me if you're moved off the waitlist and into a confirmed spot. What to Expect 🀄️ Two hours of supportive coaching during real games 🀄️ A beautiful historic setting in the center of Grafton 🀄️ I’ll have tile sets and racks 🀄️ Bring a snack and a non‑alcoholic beverage if you’d like 🀄️ Your $20 registration helps cover the room rental Advance registration is required. Your seat is confirmed when registration and payment are complete. Registration & Cancellation Policy Registration is nonrefundable. If your plans change and you cancel with at least 48 hours' notice, you’ll receive a one-time credit code for the amount you paid. The credit can be used toward another eligible session whenever it works for your schedule. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session are not eligible for a credit. If fewer than 3 people are registered, the session will be canceled by 3:00 pm and your payment will be refunded. Photo Notice: We may take a few fun photos during Mahjong sessions for social media and our community. If you’d rather not be in them, just let your host know.
