Mahjong 101 — Foundations & Fundamentals

Mahjong 101 is the first session of our two‑part Beginner Foundations Series. In this session, you’ll get a warm, welcoming introduction to American Mahjong and build the fundamentals you’ll use in Session Two. We cover: 🀄️Tiles and suits 🀄️How the National Mahjong League card works 🀄️How to build and recognize hands 🀄️The flow and structure of a round 🀄️Essential rules and terminology The pace is relaxed and supportive, with plenty of time for questions. This session lays the foundation for Mahjong 102, where we build on these skills through guided practice and strategy. Your series registration includes the official National Mahjong League card and all materials. Photo Notice: We may take a few fun photos during Mahjong sessions for social media and our community.
